View Full Version : Need Template >>>!!!
I just made this banner for my website (www.waboloe.com) I want this to be the top of the template and have a content area & a cool navigation. I suck at html and design right now so if you need some more experience or practice or just want to helpout a friend let me know. I will have a link at the bottom and in the links page to a page of your choice (your website, myspace, email, whatever you want!) I would like the colors to be the ones in the banner. Thanks - Nick

Don't templates cost some good money?
No.
I make templates in my spare time. Sometimes in photoshop, alot of times without photoshop.
If I have some time I might give it a try.
Nick, is it ok if I do this one without photoshop? And if the color scheme is blue and magenta?
No.

Good money being 5-10 bucks, I mean.

Hm. Whatever. >.>
Well anyway I made this one for free for you, Nick. Just view and copy the source. I'm sure if you just study how I put it together you can get the hang of how to edit it.
And by the way, it's NOT html transitional. And the doctype probably isn't right. :|

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I had to remove the 1px black border on the left, right and top sides of the banner image.

A professional artist and studio designer can make less than $100 for a standard redistributed template, $100 - $1000 for a five page unique layout (prices for Flash work and PHP is based on the designer's overall skill) and corporate identity design can cost upwards of $1500 depending on the size and density of the corporation. This is also assuming custom graphic work, and CSS and XHTML compliancy.
Those are the current prices of Big League studios (like StudioCom).
It really all depends on how unique and how much the customer is willing to spend. If you don't want a unique, compliant layout, there are plenty of free ones all over the internet.
Defective product thats awesome! Thanks dude i'll use that! Did you want me to link you with a site or something to give you credit?

Thanks.
You don't have to, but a "Template made by DefectiveProduct" somewhere (preferebly in the copyright or somewhere down there) wouldn't be half bad. :p
Will Do :D Thanks Again
By the way..I see that Lorem ipsum stuff on all templates and stuff..what is that?

No prob.
http://www.lipsum.com
Lorem Ipsum is a "dummy" text. Used to show how the website would look with all basic forms of text on it.
Ohh i See :D I always thought it was some strange language haha. Thanks
