sig question

this is the question: ok I've made a sig on photoshop cs2 and I've tried to host it on imageshack.us and photobucket.com but it says its not the right type of file so I looked at what type of file it is and it says its a photoshop file how do I turn it into a file that I can host?

when you save it, there will be a drop down menu, then pick ,.jpeg from the drop down menu. A pop up will come come up then put it at maximum.
