View Full Version : What Would You Like To See
What would you like to see in 2020 Coke Studios?
Obviously I'll start by saying all the original content, or at least as much of it as we can recover.
If someone did manage to pull off a legit recreation they'd need to figure out a new way to distribute decibels and rares. Most of that shit was tied to codes in coke products and movie promotions. Otherwise, most people just spammed new accounts for the free 5000db and traded everything back.

If we were able to get that far I have some ideas to cover the distribution of decibels.

I think it would be great as a mobile game. Gameplay was similar to modern games like Animal Crossing Pocket Camp in many ways. I think bringing the minigames back would be essential. If features are added to the remake, I think daily tasks would be great, such as a free item per day, or free decibels each day, possibly with bonuses for longer streaks.

I played, it's cool once you get a hold of it, and definitely the closest project yet. I'd still love to see a purist's recreation, at least as close as possible since some aspects are impossible (again, earning decibels).

I have enjoyed cavejam, but it still has a way to go. It is nice to get on and chat with people and you get a similar vibe to coke for sure.
10000% percent on the purist version. cokephase is close and i messaged him on reddit and he was saying his next move will probably be working on the server-side aspect of the client. in some of his comments, he said that is going to be the easy part, and that re-creating the client exactly is the tough part. but it seems like he has a fairly purist version. hopefully he keeps it as an open-source project so others can use it. it would be cool it see several different coke retros with different decibel systems and furni or whatever.
I was playing a Habbo retro called Habboon. You start with 10,000 credits and you earn like 50 credits for every minute on the game. I found that to be a fair system.
I always see coke codes on the inside of 24pack coke boxes. Coke still does the "sip and scan." If you wanted to be really purist, you could literally code an algorithm to read the sip n scan logos lol.
