I've heard of Western but not MAXTOR maby you should do a bit of googling before deciding.

I got the western digital one. Last night i put my 30 gigs of music onto it. Then when i gotup this morning when i plug it into my computer it says UNRECONIZED USB DEVICE. What should i do?

Maxtor is pretty good. I would recommend them..
