Limewire problem.
 

Limewires working just fine but when I close the program, about 5 seconds later the loading box re-appears and I can't ever have Limewire closed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

That happened to me. Limewire sucks, get Ares.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong? If not I'll download Ares, or something.

Just use Ares. I thought it sucked at first, but I got use to it and I find it way way better than Limewire. :)

Yea, whats the difference. Why is Ares so better? As in...?

It takes like two seconds to load up. It's virus free. Limewire was covered in them. I think it has an easier and useful interface. Just generally its more unique than Limewire.

Are download speeds good?

Well mine are yeh.. Just try it and see for yourself and if you don't like it; there is always the uninstall option.

It's no problem, I just always sit back and laugh at people who use Limewire and say "It's the best."

btw make a virus scan maybe u got a virus from limewire.....

Limewire doesn't have a virus. The virus comes from the files you download. If you use a P2P program A LOT you have a very good chance to get a virus. Also, Morpheus is and will always be the best.

I never said Limewire is a virus, I meant to say that the files you downloaded can come with a virus.

Get Bearshare. Its WAY better than Liumewire and doesnt have viruses on it..

i use Limewire Pro and i love it :D I also download torrents for full albums or whole band collections :D

If Limewire is doing that just press ctrl, alt, delete, and go to processes. Then delete the limewire process.

Ares has viruses, just like all programs in that catagory. Limewire is more popular; meaning it has more songs. I have tried ares, limewire is faster. Just dont download stuff that is 15 kbs or a 5 minute song that is 500 kbs etc.

Ctrl alt delete won't work on my comp. Happened after limewire was installed. I dunno if limewire did it though.
