Capacity raised to 2500
 

The capacity for cokestudios has been raised to 2500. Coke is lucky if they get 1k people in there. :eusa_snooty:

They're been having trouble with the server lately, maybe this past downtime was actually upgrading the server. Once they got to some amount of people they would have like a series of server restarts or something.. :O

today they nearly had 1k ppl today they had like 988 in there man and now the homepage wont even load lol.

today they got 1k and i was like wtf and all amazed.

making the capacity higher is just a waste of time.. i think... they should have done something else while they were closed, like adding new furni or sumthin like that... we dont get more that a 1000 ppl anyways :/

yeah, the lag is completely absurd... i can be in an empty user studio by myself and still be lagging out of my mind :mad:

Yeah. I couldn't even move furniture in a room by myself. Everytime I clicked I had to wait a good fifteen seconds to see a response.

Maybe this raise in capacity is a sign of change.

try trading things onto other account where you go to a room where you don't want any1 to come and ppl come and you get loadsa lags even if you put don't press go or private or trading accounts its silly they should have doorbells lol.

simply put... that just means ur net sucks... im on shit dsl and i dont lag until i get like 12 people in my room

I have Windows vista and highspeed dsl, my vista is 1.6 ghz and 512mb ram. Browser freezes when I load CS, then goes normal til i try to move in a room, then messes up, then works great, and so on.

It's all about what's in the room that causes the lag. Moving things or lfashing lights cause lag. Like pinball machines turned on, holos turned on, disco lights turned on, all those cause lag. Deluxes cause lag aswell. People dancing and playing music causes lag and the more people in the room the laggier it is and the more talking aswell.

Yeh, I agree with Coke.

CokeMongruel is right, but sometimes I get lag just by being in a room, not talking, no flashy lights. Anything like that. But I think it's the ancient computer I have that makes it do that.

And I don't really see the point of highering the limit. It's true that coke barely gets over 1000 people. But I guess that's because of all the lag and loading problems, maybe there will be more. I just don't see it ..exceeding passed 1100. :eusa_think:

I think rasing the capacity is point less I havent seen 2.0 ever full.

Its good that they added new servers.... but it would probably cause more lag unless they do something about it.

The capacity keeps changeing, right now its at 2400 i remimber befor it was 200 then 50 then 0 but thats when they were doing all that maintance.
