Digitalicious, in my personal opinion, if saddam has stayed and george bush hadnt entered iraq, everything would be okay right now. I had the best time of my life living there, and I still want to go back even during the war. They're only getting saddam for what he did in the 80's, and not what he did in the recent years. Yes, we didnt have such freedom (such as installing a satellite dish) but better than how people are living the way they are....

I FUCKING hate when people call American soldiers peices of crap. Those fucking sanddudes should be glad we are over there, trying to get some type of government being run there other than a leader like saddam. People just dont realize that they live a shit life.

That is sooo damn true! I hate that too. My sister is in the army and been in Iraq for almost a year. Im not saying that war is the way but if there were no troops in Iraq right now and America didnt give a damn about whats going on, every city in America would be bombed by now and who knows what would be going in Iraq.

Tho its true Anmar, that not all Iraqs are terorists and want war. People watch news and all they hear how Iraqs are terrorists and so on. But there are millions of innocent Iraqis who havent done anything.

So. How is the whether ther anmar? How do you live there? Like how is school different or your daily routine different there?

The whole war and shit like that is the most useless thing that is going on right now. There is no point in war. The only thing that comes out of it is killing, huge amounts of waisted money on weapons and ammunition, and more war. Iraq is supposed to be incharge of their own justice therefore they should decide what to do with saddam. Other countries shouldnt be in there because they dont need to be. Let Iraq deal with their own conflicts and that will prevent WWIII. Oil and gas prices will go down if the war stops and things go back to normal. Both saddam and bush have done some stupid things. I can't blame or make fun of bush because i dont have evidence right now. saddam has done many horrible things and iraq should decide on what to do about it. If other countries would just lay off then this shit wouldnt be happening.

My question for anmar is, how is the war affecting you and your family? Is it negative? Does it also affect school?

Speaking of school, are what many people say true? About how children in countries like Iraq actually want to learn and are grateful for school.

Weather is really hot. In the summer, you dont see 20s and 30s, you see 40s and 50s. :).
Living there is alot different from living in Canada or the US, and I have to say, it's more fun. If you get out say late at night on a weekday, you see life on the streets, not a big fat nothing :). School hours varied everyday depending on your schedule. We had an average of 6 classes (of 35 or 40 minutes) per day (sometimes 7). We get Friday and Saturday off instead of Saturday and sunday.
Well, most of my no so imediate family has left iraq (including me a 7 or 8 years ago). Negative? Yes! I don't know much about school right now, because I don't go to school there, so... yah..
It's nothing special. I feel the same way about school as I did 8 years ago. And incase you have this in your mind, schools in iraq arent a bedroom with 50 people in them. Its an actual school, just as good as schools here or better.

To all the people that live in America who never been in Iraq and have no idea whats going on they say that the war is useless, but they dont know all about it. How do you frickin know what your saying is true? iraq has never done anything against the US in the past. The two countries were friends. Saddam may have helped terrorists, but when did he do it? and why did they go after saddam when it was laden the one to blame?
