whats the layout filter?

DefectiveProduct 07-15-2006 01:28 PM

It's a filter that changes the layout of a private studio when you load it.

Now people may think this is pointless, but it's actually very useful.

Because when you have a small room and you use the layout filter to load a big room, you can put furniture in places where you normally could in the big room and it will show up in the small room in the same exact location, serverside.

So basically the filter gives you the furniture placement grid of the layout you converted the original layout to and applies it to the original.

If you give me ten minutes I'll post a screenshot of exactly what you can do with this filter.

Oh, and here is a handy key to the room layouts that you'll need.

Look in the supported programs section and look for wpe pro.

Now, back on topic.

It is originally a layout three, but I converted it to a layout four and laid down furni. You can kind of see the template of the layout four room too if you look at it.

EDIT: But you know, I can't even confirm that this thing even works anymore. I assumed it did because Prophet posted it. O_o

EDIT AGAIN: It works alright. :p

Here is a screenshot of the room when you convert it to layout four.
