he's right,
png is the best. you may have to look around for a hosting site that will host a png. but i believe they all do now. also, i believe you know not to use paint if you ARE going to use a jpeg...cause paint saves it as such a low resolution.
use photoshop, i use photoshop 7. i believe they have a crack and a download for the newest photoshop here, but i haven't gotten to that yet.
