The reason why any of the filters that allow(ed) you to buy special items work(ed) is because they essentially linked themselves onto other objects (furniture codes) inside the oh so "great" and "mysterious" coke catalog which includes any and all furni pieces that are, were, and ever will be availible on the studios. Yes all of the rares from bass fish to pinballs are on there still but they are blocked from the "average" v-ego because there locked with "special" tags.
